Who I am:
I am a mechanical engineer in Nashville, TN with a wide base of experience, knowledge and skills. I have this diverse background thanks to my intense curiosity and willingness to dive deep into problems. When I was 18 I taught myself sound engineering while traveling in Peru. When I was 24 I interviewed engineers and artists around the country to discover professional paths. At 29 I gave myself a crash-course in computational fluid dynamics in order to help design and refine a novel device to reduce drag on an aircraft. Curiosity is what drives me. Dedication is how I deliver great results.
My five biggest strengths:
Forms strong, lasting connections via a positive, engaging personality.
Creates business opportunity through creative problem-solving and original thinking.
Ensures client satisfaction and internal success through excellent cross-disciplinary communication.
Promotes organizational resilience by rising to the occasion with capable leadership.
Achieves continuous improvement through process-driven work.
What I am looking for:
A dynamic full-time position at an organization that strives for effective solutions to the future’s biggest problems, that engages the community to strengthen our STEM foundations, and that is committed to equity and growth throughout.
My dream job: lead exhibit designer at an immersive science museum such as the Exploratorium in San Francisco
